Artist Lesley Lawrence made her second successive appearance at our
51st annual exhibition.
Many of you will remember from the 2005 and 2006 exhibitions the marvellous display of
pictures by Lesley Lawrence.
Lesley had conversations with several potential customers about specific
commissions. Would you like a painting of a favourite scene - perhaps a
station you know or a locomotive or a bus? Would you like a portrait of your
prized model locomotive or even your layout? Her pictures make ideal gifts.
Recently she has undertaken commissions for retirement and birthday
presents.
Lesley works in a variety of mediums, often water colour or pen and inks for
more detailed work. She also is an expert at working from photographs - take
a look at the examples on this site and see some she has done in this way.
Costs are not prohibitive. A commissioned black and white work in A4 size,
mounted but not framed can be bought for as little as £20.
