We are looking for new members interested in forming a brand new Narrow Gauge Section
within the club.
This follows the acquisition by the I & WEMRC of a superb 009 layout modelled on the Barnstaple Town
to Braunston stretch of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway.
The original model, built by Robert Hardingham of Bexhill, has a full-scale size Barnstaple
Town platform that will accommodate an eight coach train.
Space allowing, due to its full size we plan to have just part of the
layout shown as a static display at our 2007 Exhibition
to demonstrate the potential of this superb model. Please ask any club member at the
exhibition for more details.
