You are invited to a free & open 2-Day O gauge Gala at the Ilford & West Essex Model Railway Club in Chadwell Heath. Next to the Elizabeth Line station. RM6 4BU.

Friday 19th August 2022 - 6.30pm to 10.00pm
Saturday 20th August 2022 - 1.00pm to 8.00pm

By Train: Come out of the station, turn left and 10 metres on the left through the metal gate.

By Car: There are two car parks, one either side of the station. Wangey Road car park on the north side is free after 5.30pm. Station Road car park on the south side is free after 7pm.

Come to our Free 2 Day O gauge gala at the I&WEMRC in Chadwell Heath.

There will be Three layouts available to run trains, your trains, goods and passenger trains or just rolling stock. The club's locos and stock will be made available. No charge - all free. Or you can just be a spectator and enjoy some social chit chat.

Double Track Oval with 8ft radius, and 124 feet of continuous test track for all types.
(Fine scale + 3 rail course scale, AC, DC, DCC, MTH DCS control possible.)

Taw Magna a branch terminus with goods. (Fine scale only.)
Bovey Manor a Suburban branch terminal. (Fine scale only.)
Steam, Diesel, (all eras) Electric, goods, passenger etc etc - all welcome.
Free help with fault finding, and advice. A clinic to solve most problems.
We can introduce you to our comprehensive library.

The club is adjacent to Chadwell Heath Elizabeth Line Station (RM6 4BU.) Turn left and 10 metres along you will find a metal gate. Slide the bolt and open but please make sure you close it and slide the bolt back behind you. The stairs are steep and there is no disabled access.

Car parking:
One on the North side of the station (Wangey) is free after 5.30pm
One on the South side (Station Car Park) is free after 7.00pm

No formal catering provided at present BUT tea and coffee will be available just ask a club member.
