Whistling Woods is actually a part of the North American section's larger layout
Schaffons Crossing, this configuration being a 7' x 7' square
which comprises the logging section and a circular main line.
The layout depicts an early logging line with its strange looking locomotives and the rugged terrain
which had to be traversed to gain access to the timber, for which there was an ever growing demand
around the turn of the century. However, there is no precise region or era, allowing us to run a
variety of rolling stock.
